Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork ensuring that all products are properly accounted for.Quality Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.EquipmentEnsure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.SchedulingParticipate in establishing work schedules. Ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.StorageMaintain accurate bin locations. Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation. Rotate product as appropriate.Safety, Sanitation, SecurityMaintain a clean; neat, and orderly warehouse area. Maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and security. Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS Standards.Labor ManagementDirect the operations of the warehouse work team to achieve maximum productivity and accuracy. RecordsComplete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Make sure customer returns are processed daily.InventoryAssure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting of cycle counts and physical inventories.Must maintain a good attendance record.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must provide personal information as required by federal and state agencies in order to obtain regulatory licenses.Perform any other tasks as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and offers leadership to subordinates in accordance with the organization's policies and guidelines.
